OFW Opening Show Christina Ledang
Yesterday was a long day with little to no hitches. The first is something I have know will be the main event in all fashion weeks but the second was a lovely surprise that we were not expecting. Oslo fashion week is not a huge event such as the big four and to be honest it is definitely not the most creative or most concerned with what is put on the catwalk. This year we hoped to at least change that a little as Christina Ledang was put in charge of the S/S opening show. The look combined elements of 20’s and 50’s fashion but with a modern colour blocked latex driven look. Elements of vintage clothing were combined with (almost) handmade shoes (as we sat and carved away for many hours on them), T. Michaels luxury bags and Christina’s own design latex garments. I’d like to think that the show was a success and I look forward to seeing the front of house video just as much as I looked forward to that glass of wine at the end of yesterday’s show.
